The ITA IDCO Training Program offers athletes the guarantee that tests and doping controls are conducted in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and international best practice. This applies wherever they are tested and whatever sport they compete in, and ensures that doping controls are conducted safely, respectfully and by trained professionals.

The course content focuses on the advanced professional and team management skills required in the elite sports setting, and the effective approaches to communication that supports athletes throughout the testing process. The online learning component covers the core, mandatory processes required according to the WADA International Standards.

We want the program to be as inclusive as possible and be offered to Doping Control Officers from all over the world who wish to be active on the international stage. If you are eligible, you will have the opportunity to participate in the IDCO Training Program through events run locally by the ITA in close cooperation with your Anti-Doping Organisation. Access to course materials, face-to-face training, examination and certification is free to all participating Doping Control Officers. What you need to have:
